realityvirtual.co is proud to announce that we are the fortunate recipients of the prestigious EPIC GAMES MEGA GRANT. A considerably substantial amount of financial aid has been gifted to aid our endeavour to backup the planet. These funds / resources will be going directly to bolster our research & development effort into real-time volumetric tele-presence experiences for the greater good of humanity in addition to encapsulating a number of real-world locations for the enjoyment of the masses free on STEAM. In these tough times, a sense of immersive pleasure is a godsend.

Other technologies such as deepPBR, which marries directly into these two other fields is also actively being fast-paced as a result of this injection. All these components have great synergy and being able to level up in these difficult times is nothing short of feeling blessed.

We thank EPIC GAMES from the bottom of our hearts. Honestly an amazing company, amazing people and friends we hold dear. We thank you for believing in our endeavour. Digital Twins for the win!

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

AWS DeepPBR.io has been selected for the prestigious NVIDIA Inception program, a very generous fund to help AI Startups.  DeepPBR received a massive 100k USD in credits for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing platform. 

The Inception Program has given us a huge head start to help us build the DeepPBR platform. DeepPBR is incredibly computationally heavy work, it uses multiple Artificial Intelligence networks and image processing programs.  The code base is massive both for the front and back end - however we also leverage many different open source image processing programs and libraries that work great in the Linux AWS environment. 

Using AWS we've begun the task of parallelising the operations to speed up the time taken to process each image. We’re continuing to make it faster and more efficient - AWS is an incredible resource with a multitude of ways to achieve what's necessary.  This 100k in credits is a god send, a perfect opportunity for us to use and test what's best. 

NVIDIA

NVIDIA has been one of our biggest supporters. Providing us close to $50,000 USD of graphics cards and support all round. Our relationship began way back in 2017 when NVIDIA asked to show-case our MANA VR experience at GDC. Our relationship is extremely important and many of the main players at NVIDIA we consider to be very good friends. Their NVIDIA inception program has been wonderful.

Unreal Engine / Epic Games has provided realityvirtual.co with an unsurmounted amount of market recognition. We were also the recipient of their Grants program to the value of $40.000 USD back in 2017

HTC VIVE X

LISA CHu / Industry Strategy and Marketing

HTC Vive X through their accelerator program have provided us with tens of thousands in retain of their latest headset equipment. We were also a very close candidate in regards to the Vive X programme.

HP New Zealand

New Zealand Film Commission

New Zealand Film Commission were so kind as to have us as a recipient of the Interactive Development Grant. A grand total of $20,000 NZD as to help aid us get Aotearoa Discovered off the ground.

Capturing Reality

Capturing Reality & their fantastic software reality capture in our opinion the gold standard of point-cloud acquisition from photogrammetry & LiDAR data. Capturing Reality has been kind enough to sponsor us two 1 year floating CLI licenses worth €15,000.00 each. We also plan for Reality Capture to be one of our first partners in integrating our de-lighting method for photogrammetry via SDK.
